Blu ray updates bdp s350

I wonder if the disc was damaged by the magnet in the case? I am not sure. I will put the disc in a jewel case and conduct the same test you did. If you have this set and an S, try the Bourne Identity and let me know if you have the same issue. I am upgraded to this latest firmware version that you mention in this blog post.

Since a Blu-ray disc is optical the magnet should have no effect on it. Scratching and bending can damage a Blu-ray disc though. Sorry but I don't have the Bourne box set. I plan on renting it and I'll report back if I have any playback problems with my Sony S Post a Comment. I want to go back to Ver now, but didn't keep a copy, anyone know where you can download the previous firmware from?

Last edited: May 11, Anyone know what this update fixed? Philip Banned. Here you go. I can't seem to connect my to the internet for some reason. It was working as I've already done one update on it to but for some reason it seems it doesn't even detect my internet even tho its plugged in to the router via ethernet cable Have you tried powering the router off and on? I would have thought that would solve it for now. Does the have a fast start function?

If so, are you using it? Just wondering if it's a DHCP thing. The sony site just quotes the new update as adding compatability with BD-live discs so I don't think anything much is added other than stopping us having problems with future discs.

Do you think sony will ever add any more features to this player or have they now moved onto a newer model and this one will pretty much be left as it is.

Ufotone Active Member. Hi all I just updated my firmware because of freezing issues with 2 discs Transporter 3 Tango and Cash The problem is still there, anyone else had freezing issues with these or any other discs?

Only have Transporter 3 and that plays fine. Twin Turbo Active Member. Philip said:. The picture is polished, showing great attention to detail, and excellent sharpness and realism is also apparent. There's a real clarity to the image that similarly priced players can't muster. When it comes to DVD playback, the 'S does the crisp transfer of Forgetting Sarah Marshall justice, displaying a welcome absence of on-screen noise.
